The Dryer Idler Pulley Wheel maintains correct tension on the drive belt to spin the drum. If your washer is noisy or squeaky during the drying cycle or won’t spin at all, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. We also recommend replacing the Drive Belt (item 661570V) at the same time you complete this repair. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience.
