How to Replace a 00640565 Bosch Water Filter
1. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator by turning off the water shut-off valve near the refrigerator.
2. Open the refrigerator’s front panel and locate the water filter.
3. Unscrew the old filter from its housing and discard it.
4. Take out the new filter from its packaging, being careful not to squeeze or touch the filter’s exterior.
5. Insert the new filter into the filter housing and turn clockwise until tight.
6. Turn the water shut-off valve back on and wait for 1 minute.
7. Check for any water leaks at the filter housing.
8. Remove the protective cap on the filter’s inlet (inlet side) and attach the new filter to the inlet tube.
9. Push the tube onto the filter’s inlet and twist the nut clockwise until it is secure.
10. Dispense a few gallons of water through the fridge water dispenser to prime the system and remove any air pockets.
11. Close the refrigerator’s front panel.
Your Bosch 00640565 water filter has now been successfully replaced.
