1. Determine the model of your Bosch Dishwasher. This will help you make sure you select the correct replacement Button Knob for your appliance.

2. Unplug the Dishwasher from its power source. This will make sure that no one gets a shock while replacing the Button Knob.

3. Using a screwdriver, locate and remove the screws that secure the front panel of the dishwasher.

4. Carefully remove the front panel and locate the Button Knob.

5. Using a pair of pliers, carefully remove the old Button Knob by pressing down on the sides and gently pulling it out.

6. Place the new 00168561 Bosch Dishwasher Button Knob – Black into the hole where the old knob was, making sure to align the small notch with the connector. You may need to use some force to get the knob to "click" into place.

7. Plug the Dishwasher back in and reassemble the front panel.

8. Test the new Button Knob to make sure it's working properly.
