Instructions on How to Replace a Samsung DE81-02579A SVC-SPILL PROTECTOR W/GASKET
1. Disconnect the power to the appliance. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, or if the appliance is hard wired, turn off the circuit breaker in the main electrical panel.
2. Remove the old spill protection shield by unscrewing the six screws that secure the shield to the top of the appliance.
3. Place the new Samsung DE81-02579A SVC-SPILL PROTECTOR W/GASKET into position on the top of the appliance and affix it with the six screws.
4. Re-attach the power cord to the appliance or switch the circuit breaker back on.
5. Test the appliance for proper operation before putting it back into service.
