Replacing the Samsung DE81-06740A SVC-Top Cap Flat C Dual Chrome
1. Unplug the power to your appliance and turn off any related water supply valves.
2. Remove any screws beneath the top plate of the appliance, if applicable.
3. Lift up the top plate carefully to access the broken dual chrome cap.
4. Unscrew the broken cap using a Phillips screwdriver.
5. Inspect the condition of the O-rings around the cap and replace them with new ones if necessary.
6. Insert the new Samsung DE81-06740A SVC-Top Cap Flat C Dual Chrome into place.
7. Tighten it down on both ends with your Phillips screwdriver.
8. Reattach the top plate with the appropriate screws.
9. Turn on the water supply valves and plug back in the electrical connection to the appliance.
10. Test that the new cap is working properly.
