Step 1: Locate the water filter slot on the LG refrigerator. This is usually located at the base of the unit near the front or side.
Step 2: Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator by shutting off the shutoff valve.
Step 3: Unscrew the filter cap and pull the old filter out from its housing.
Step 4: Replace the filter with the new one, making sure it is oriented correctly.
Step 5: Secure the filter cap back into place and turn the water supply back on.
Step 6: Following the manufacturer’s instructions, flush the filter for a full two minutes to remove any debris or sediment.
Step 7: Reset the “Change Filter†light by pressing and holding the “Reset†button for three seconds.
You have now successfully replaced your AGF80300702 LG Refrigerator Water Filter (LT700P)!
