ULANUGGETFILTER U-Line Nugget Ice Water Filter

1. First, turn off the water to the refrigerator and unplug it from the wall. You'll also need to remove any food or drinks inside the refrigerator.

2. Locate the water filter housing on the back side of the refrigerator. The plastic housing is typically in the upper right-hand corner. Depress the tabs located on each side of the housing and pull down to open the filter compartment.

3. Inside the compartment you will find the U-Line ULANUGGETFILTER NUGGET ICE WATER FILTER. Grasp the filter with both hands and twist counterclockwise ¼ turn to release. Pull down on the filter and it should come out.

4. With the old filter removed, take the new filter and insert it into the filter housing with both hands. Push up until it is firmly in place and then twist clockwise ¼ turn to lock.

5. For best results, flush the system for 15 minutes (or more) before using the new filter. To do this, first reconnect the power to the refrigerator. Then, hold a bowl underneath the filter and turn on the water until the filter is completely full. Once full, turn off the water and allow the filter to fill up again. Repeat this process several times until the filter is completely filled and functioning correctly.

6. After the filter is flushed and functioning, replace any food and drinks that were removed during the installation process. That's it – you're done!
