Replacing the Whirlpool WP2186494T CAP-FILTER: DIY Instructions
1. Unplug your refrigerator and locate the filter. The filter is usually located in the top right corner of the refrigerator.
2. Open the filter cap by turning the filter counter-clockwise.
3. Take out the old filter and discard it.
4. Insert the new Whirlpool WP2186494T CAP-FILTER into the filter housing.
5. Turn the filter clockwise to secure it.
6. Run water from the filter for about five minutes to purge any air bubbles and flush any loose sediment that may be present in the line.
7. Plug in the refrigerator.
