The Areostar 3-Ply Panel and Link filters incorporate three distinct filter layers permanently heat-sealed around a sturdy internal wire-frame. The first layer acts as a high-porosity impingement filter, the send a high-density interceptor and the third a durable strainer to prevent unloading or streaming. A non-migrating tackifier between the second and third laminates assures positive filter-cake build up. This filter achieves a high level of efficiency on a wide range of particle sizes. Because no external support structure is necessary, all of the media surface is exposed to the air stream.

The Aerostar 3-ply filter;s media is non-allergenic, unaffected by moisture and humidity and is ideal in rooftop HVAC equipment exposed to high humidity situations. They offer additional advantage of being linkable, and the self-healing, friction-fit frames can often eliminate the need for extra mounting hardware.

You may choose either the panel or link form of filter constriction. The link form is designed for side load slide-in systems. It eliminates any possible joint leakage, and can reduct filter change-out time by up to 70%. Both panels and links offer approximately three times the lie of fibreglass panel filters. When used as pre-filters, these filters will add substantially to the life of more expensive high-efficiency filters.

These 3-ply, triple-density filters are a substantial "step up" from conventional fibreglass filters. They offer up to triple the efficiency and triple the service life, but do not cost three times more. The heat-sealed laminated construction eliminates fibre break-off and makes the filters easier to handle with bare hands. The self-gasketed frame reduces hardware and holding devices by giving a positive friction-fit. The Aerostar 3-Ply is an ideal filter for medium-efficiency applications.
