Aprilaire Air Cleaner Upgrade Kit, for 2400 & 2140

Aprilaire Genuine OEM #1413 Upgrade Kit for Air Cleaners. Converts Aprilaire air cleaner to take more efficient MERV 13, "no-assembly-required" filter #413.

The kit includes everything you need to upgrade your filter from MERV 10 to MERV 13 efficiency rating – a 65% improvement and FAR more effective at capturing the small particles that cause allergies and lung health issues. This is a permanent upgrade. The MERV 13 Aprilaire 413 filter captures up to 90% of dust, pollen, mold spores, fungi, pet dander and other airborne allergens from your air. This MERV 13 filter also captures up to 75% of bacteria and virus carrying particles that a MERV 10 filter cannot.

For use with Aprilaire models 2400 and 2140.
Note: this upgrade kit fit in units with plastic (non-metal) doors.

This kit includes:
(1) Permanently installed metal frame
(1) Model #413 MERV 13 media filter
(1) Door spacer, which may be required depending on the date that your air cleaner was manufactured as well as the door style your unit has.
