The D-3153 Pneumatic Actuator is a multipurposepositioning device used primarily for operatingventilating dampers in response to the output signalsof a pneumatic controller or electro-pneumatictransducer.The D-3153 can be used with dampers up to amaximum area of 16 square feet for proportionalvolume control and 25 square feet for two positionactuation provided that the torque requirements arecompatible with the specific application.The D-3153 is UL component recognized for use onUL classified 555/555S smoke and combinationfire/smoke dampers which have been tested andapproved to a degradation temperature of 250°F(121°C).Figure
